What Toronto homeowners should know
As of May 1, 2026, the City states that the program can provide up to $6,650 per eligible property for qualifying work completed on or after November 12, 2025. Each category has its own lifetime maximum and conditions.
Applications generally require licensed contractors, original electronic paid invoices, itemized costs, permits and inspections where applicable, and installation photos for specified work.
The homeowner applies to the City. A contractor can supply project records and explain the plumbing scope but cannot approve the application or promise payment.
